Default Windshield washer hose on 2013 Boxster

On my 2013 Boxster the washer fluid hose going from the the engine compartment to the frunk lid broke off. The part of the hose that's in the engine compartment is still accessible but the part in the lid snapped off flush so there's nothing to grab onto. Anyone have this happen and how did you fix it?

Go to Porsche dealer, buy part, replace broken part!

Pardon my ignorance of the working parts of a 2013 Boxster but are you saying there is a washer fluid hose in the engine compartment? Isn't the washer fluid reservoir in the frunk like the 986?

Of course..meant to say frunk. The reservoir and pump feed WW fluid through a cheesy plastic tube about 1/4" ID up into the corner of the frunk lid where it then disappears inside a cavity to feed the 2 nozzles. I don't recall what it looked like when it was intact, but looks to me like it gets flexed every time the lid opens and just fatigued. With a design like that, and considering how early in its life it failed, I thought others might have experienced the same thing. So far, not.
