Intermittent indicators

Intermittent indicators
My turn indicators only work intermittently but sometimes operating the hazard warning switch will get them to work but not always.
Will replacing the switch cure this problem or should I be looking elsewhere ?
So far, both relevant fuses check out OK.
Not sure which relay near the fusebox to check next. Any suggestions ?
Any other items I should be checking ? (Like steering column indicator stalk) ?
So far, car not useable because of this and I'm getting withdrawal symptoms lol
