Name that mystery black box in rear trunk on firewall
Car: 1999 986 manual
What is the black box next to ECU?
It has 2 wires coming out of it: a red and black wire that connects to a connector with yellow and black wires. Maybe a remote starter or alarm?
This is NOT the wiring you want to find when you look in the trunk - argh -what a mess - some installer in the last 20 years spliced in a ton of minifuses.
Thanks in advance for your guesses and maybe any thoughts on where I should connect the yellow wire and the black wire after I disconnect them from this mysterious box.
