I’ve always used a 9v battery with a push button switch to activate injectors while cleaning. I have the set of injectors from my original engine, but they have some miles on them so I’m leaning toward getting a new set and not bothering to clean my current set.
Schnell Gelb, which upgraded injectors are you referring to?

It seems odd that all 6 injectors failed simultaneously. Even if the little filter basket in every one of them is plugged with gelled fuel(True?) ,why are none of them 'clicking' when you test them individually ?
The injectors I bought on Flebay were those listed for my car by Bosch part number BUT they had slightly higher resistance than spec and slightly higher maximum flow rate. They are dark grey in color ,not the usual beige.

i agree 6 at once.......possible but....now i could believe the ecm is having a hard time driving the injectors from the different motor than stock. Are the injectors the same number/interchangeable ?

The injectors didn’t necessarily “fail” all at the same time. The motor that I swapped into the car was a very low mileage 3.4 from a 2000 996. However it sat on a pallet covered up on a shelf for years before I bought it. There was old stale fuel in the rails. That is the one item I neglected to address... cleaning the injectors. So my theory at this point is the injectors are all clogged/gummed up with old fuel and not able to open. Hopefully in the next day or two I can get back in the garage and pull the injectors.

If you remove the injectors, soak in penetrating oil, remove the filter baskets,'O' rings, replace - it may be a waste ? New injectors !

Pulled the injectors and soaked them in several different chemicals over two days. Not one single injector would free up. I took the injectors from my old engine, cleaned them, installed them and the car fired right up! Problem solved.
Thanks to everyone for your input and advice.
I think I’m going to give the injectors below a try. The price is for all 6 with free shipping.
