Default P1117 and P0140

Hello everyone! After engine rebuild I am getting codes P1117 and P0140. Anyone dealt with these before and can direct where to start? Thanks in advance!

2001 Boxster 2.7L manual transmission.

P1117 - Oxygen Sensor heating 1 ahead of (my notes on my reference have "ahead of" crossed out and "behind" written in) catalytic converter below lower limit.

Fault conditions: Heating current too low. Possible cause: Contact resistance; heating resistance too high; interruption in heating circuit; interruption in signal wire; short circuit to plus.

P0140 - Oxygen sensor ahead of 3 way converter (cylinders 1-3).

Fault conditions: The trouble code is stored when the sensor voltage is between 400 mV and 500 mV for more than 400 seconds without interruption. Possible cause: Wiring harness; oxygen sensor; ECM (DME/ECU).

In both cases above there are some tests but I don't have time to type the details in right now.

You can start by checking the sensor connections and carefully checking the sensor wiring for any signs of damage (pinched, crushed, cut, or stretched) from (possibly) removing the engine or installing it after the rebuild.
