Check yer' water pump, they are a common cause of engine failure. The one we replaced as routine maintenance from our street 98' boxster has lots of play in the bearing.

I just got my 01 Box inspected for an upcoming DE. The tech said that my front radiators were full of leaves and needed cleaned out. Something to consider anyway.

What does your temp gauge normally read and do you often get stuck in traffic on hot days? When was your wpump replaced last?
