I think you misinterpreted both his reply and his signature.

No, you can go +/- 1" on all 4 wheels. You can only do one end of the car on Sway Bars

You asked if the "+/- 1" rule is allowed for just one end of the car" -- he was reply "no, you can go +/- 1" on all four wheels (as opposed to just two)", and then signed that he's a member of the Kentucky Region's board of directors.

Thanks for clearing that up, Stephen. I was scratching my head on who of my fellow directors would make such a definitive statement about solo....

Just got my GT3 front bar. Will get it installed and the car aligned once the two feet of snow that we just got in Philly melts..

Also just put in an order for a set of Forgeline GA1R Open Lug Cap wheels in Satin Black. 19x8.5, 50mm offset and 19x10, 43mm offset, with 255 & 285/35R19's Hoosierstones.

My first event in the Cayman was a success. I managed a third place finish in AS at NNJR SCCA's first event of the year. I'm still learning the car, so I know I left a good amount on the table. Overall I'm very happy with the performance.

Here's the event write up.

I think I've said it before, but hot damn if the 981 isn't the prettiest car Porsche has put out in decades. Yours looks better than that GT4 too.

Congratulations on a successful first event!

Any issues with electronic "nannies" with your tire setup? There is about 1" difference in the diameter between 255's and 285's. I'm thinking about using the same setup for my GT4 but concerned that electronics might get unhappy with such tire diameter variance.

Thanks. I haven't noticed any issues with the 255/285 19" setup. The GT4 that was at the event was running 245/35r19 and 285/38r19 and it seemed to work well for him.

Thanks. Yes, I've heard that 245/285 RE71R work well on the GT4. I think I'll go with it for my first set.
