End of Winter Survival - Best Autocross Book?
Ok, I'm bored to tears with winter and can't wait to get out and drive my car!
While I'm staring out at the bleak, miserable, cold weather I thought I'd do some reading on autocross driving technique just to keep the blood pressure from dropping through the floor.
Any recommendations?
Man I hate February!

My favorite that I have actually read is Secrets of Solo Racing by Henry Watts (1989). The first one that I read was Winning Autocross Solo II Competition by Richard H. Turner and J. B. Miles (1977). I think I recently saw an ad for a more recently published autocross book, but I don't remember the details.

Buy some cones, find a deserted parking lot early in the morning, and go have fun.
Here's a 300' square layout. Three laps; first a peanut, then a figure X, then a perimeter.
Many of the cones can be eliminated if you are just out having fun.
