Then why are you sticking your nose into my business on a public forum? You don't even know me.... hearsay. You're in trouble, Kevin. Big trouble.

I noticed your post here after reading some of my friends comments about the event, they were comments about the day in general along with some pictures (http://www.soma07.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=2181) and when I came upon your post and saw your amazing cone pic I made the connection. Now I am sure you know how rumors can get started and blown way out of proportion on these forums so as a fellow renlister and autocrosser decided I would try the gentlemanly thing and find out your side of the story. I thought you would appreciate it, not jump down my throat.

Where were you trying to get my side of the story? All you did was make accusations which were not true. Yeah, I know how rumors get started. They get started by people like you who repeat things you've "heard", not seen. If you're going to accuse me of something, do it like a man.... make your posts public, as I am. That will h elp clear up the picture for anyone else reading this thread. I notice you edited out an inflammatory statement.... that's ok, I have the entire thread saved....and I think I'll print it out and you can explain it to the officials.

Why was I off track so much? Because I am not an autocross racer. I hate it. I'm much more used to high speed road courses, like Daytona....I can't brake unless I heel toe downshift. Running around that dinky course in second gear all day made me laugh. I felt like I was in a go kart track. The track prep was horrible... Do you call piles of sand in the corners a good track? And, who is that guy that looks like Harry Potter? The guy with the round glasses. That guy jumped all over me about where my car was while we were putting the numbers on. "I've told you every time you come over here NOT to park in that spot." WTF? I've never seen this guy in my life. And that's exactly what I told him. He just plain had the wrong guy and went off on me. I'll be there next time... I'm not going to race though. It occurred to me that I'm out there on a go kart track in a $100k Porsche, burning the tires off... and beating it to death.
I guess you wouln't know much about that with that little scooter your driving.
That course layout nearly cost me my car. And who would have paid for that?
ME! Who do you have your car insurance with? Do they know you are racing in a timed event? I guess not.....if they knew that they'd drop your insurance. That would be a shame!

How much racing have you done, Kevin?. Is it all on those little go kart tracks?
If I put you in my car and took you around Daytona intl, including the infield course you'd be making mud in your pants and begging me to stop. HOw about a formula car? Ever done that? I have..... very high speeds and no problems. You know, formula cars have no synchronizers.... you have to do what is called a "heel toe double clutch down shift". I'd love to see you try that! You're no racer. You're just driving around in your little roller skate, knocking over cones like you were in a pinball game. So, you get your jollies doing that, and I'll go back to racing road courses. Why don't you come to VIR with me? No, never mind.... I don't want crap on my seat. You wouldn't be able to handle it... ..

I know the starter in question, and yes he did say you later apologized. No-one that I heard from new you were leaving due to a family emergency, I hope it turned out not to be anything too serious. I think I know the course worker in that photo, he was surprised to be getting yelled at after red flagging the car, most people are Ok with a red flag.

Then tell the truth the first time, BOY! I touched his knee with my rear fender and he went dramatic and yelled "You ran over me!" That's just a damned lie!
He even admitted it later and said I only touched his knee. But, the damage was done. Everyone heard him say that, so now I have the reputation of running over people. Tell your friend the course worker that he needs to learn to throw a red flag. A wrapped flag on a pole is NOT a red flag! I stopped out of courtesy to see what was going on.. Look at your picture. Do you see a red flag?

So, get your crap straight..... Don't worry, I'm not going to beat your ass, even though you deserve it. YOU are going to explain to the officials that you did this, and you're going to tell me which one of them said what. Don't be a pussy..... grow up you little worm!

I liked Kelly's courses too, seemed like he was not coming out to Deland for a while there though. No one else seems to want to step up to the plate and offer to design the courses so Terry ends up doing it nearly every month just a few day before hand. And Turns out Terry (the course designer) didn't like that course much either.

Kelly's about fed up with it too. Did you also hear when they put him on the starting line just left him there with that 2 stroke engine about to sieze. He finally thew his hands in the air and shut it off. That's the kind of incompetence I'm talking about. The officials were totally uncoordinated....small town stuff. I'd rather run with Lambos, Ferrari's and other Porsches.... and I love to dust those Z06's and M3's..... But you wouldn't know anything about that, would you? Don't forget, I'll be looking for you at the next Deland race. Don't wimp out on me...... man or mouse? Back up your accusations with facts. Or just shut the hell up! Why don't you tell your butt buddies to speak up instead of hiding too?

Buzz, I meant no ill intent towards you, I have this bad habit of trying to make everybody happy, I probably should have never bothered to stick my nose it this but I did... sorry I even bothered.

Making everybody happy? Is this what you call making everyone happy?
You're right ..... you shouldn't h ave stuck your nose in my business. My wife is an attorney..... libel and slander suits are a piece of cake. Would you like me to have you served? The best thing for you is to sit down and shut up! And you can tell that to all of your little course worker buddies, and the officials. I'm sick of trying to deal with you "wanna be's"..... Next time at Deland, BE THERE!
We're damned sure going to get this straight. So, there it is.... that's my final word on the matter. You don't have to like it.... you just have to own up to it if you have the balls.

One other thing you need to tell your buddies and the officials. I have the worst case of Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome my doctor has ever seen. That's what happens when you see too much violent death. No, you don't know me at all.
You really should be ashamed of yourself!

I now realize that I was wrong in every way that I could be, and that I acted like a childish moron....

i realize that i should not have threatened people.

I can not understand why i posted a pic and vid of my car that both show my number and then cursed someone else for posting a pic of my car.

i am sorry for posting someones personal information while in a rage.

i am sorry for posting private messages in a public forum in an attempt to start a fight.

i am sorry for making fun of someones appearance

i now realize that the guy that threw the red flag did so cuz there was a dangerous situation on track and i apologize for yelling at him.

i am also sorry for belittling someone that has better car control in autocross situations.... i now realize that autocross takes similar but very different car control techniques and takes a lot more of the car out of the race and focuses more on the driver.

i am sorry for acting like i have done it all and know it all.

i realize that i am not the best driver in the world.

i now realize that the track being dusty or sandy is its own unique character, while the officials do everything they can to keep the track clear they cant do it all.

i also realize that if every track was the same surface and the same conditions with the same layout that things would not only get boring but there would be no reason to show up cuz we know who would win.

i am sorry for making fun of other peoples cars cuz they don't have the money i have.

i realize that not everyone is rich, i will turn over a new leaf and start donating money to charities and giving back to the community instead of voting for bush again. (everyone knows Jesus said a camel has a better chance of passing through the eye of a needle then a rich man getting into heaven)

i am sorry that i was so worried about getting last place in my $100k car that i didn't pay enough attention to the course workers and brushed up against one, i am very lucky it wasn't any worse.

i am also sorry for threatening legal action against someone for things they did in private when i did worse in public.

this is a new leaf for me, i will no longer resort to personal attacks. i hope that when i decide to come back to racing at cfr autocross races that i will be allowed. i hope everyone accepts my apologies.
