Camber Plates

I have a 21 CGTS and I currently have -1.5 degree of camber in the front. I am wanting to get -2.5 degree to be able to go with the Apex wheel set up. Is there a go to brand? Is this the right way to get the camber that I am looking for? I do autocross my car a lot and I am wanting to go with 19" wheels and the bigger the tire the better. Thanks!

Just an FYI, you may want to ensure these mods don't knock you into a new class (if you care about such things). If you run SCCA, then you'll certainly be bumped out of SS.

As for camber plates, I know that the Tarett Club Sport plates work with the non-GT type of suspension, and have heard good things.

I run with ETR locally and focused on winning SS this year with how the car was delivered. I thankfully have accomplished that! Now I want to try and run SST but my car isn’t listed per the SCCA rules. I have sent them a email to consider adding my car the the SST list. Now that I have accomplished winning SS, I just want to do what mods I want and have fun next year.

I figured if I went with Tarett or Elephant Racing camber plates I should be ok. It never hurts to ask and get opinions from those who have done this. Thanks!!

The next step should be to win a trophy at the Bristol Tour or in Lincoln in SS. ;)

I'm not on the STAC but I would wager about a 0% chance of your car going to SST. The 781S isn't even there. A 500+hp (within rules) 911 on gt3 type (within rules) suspension is a definite no. SST 911s currently stop at the 997.2

You can run XS-A or write the SPAC for SP classing. Likely would go SSP.

Heck I am nowhere near competing at a national level!! Those guys are awesome drivers! I do always go up to Bristol and watch the fast guys run and ask questions. Wherever my mods land me will be fine since I am just having fun locally with ETR.

I have a set of fixed camber plates on my 987S. I'd recommend adjustable lower control arms - GT3 style. The camber plates tend to be a bit more harsh on regular driving in my opinion. Either RSS or Elephant Racing LCA's are very good and with correct camber fit the Apex wheels without issue. They are more money than camber plates, but easier to install.

You must have read my mind. I have been thinking about going the LCA route all weekend. I know the Apex site mentions camber plates instead of LCA's so I appreciate you confirming these will also work with their wheels. I do not mind spending a little more money to have a easier install.
