Nice driving Stephen, Congrats on the win! I finally put in a decent run and still messed up the finish but it probably wouldn't cover the 6 tenths difference.
For comparison in a 2014 C2S.

Thanks Craig! You guys left me all alone this week though! Here's my best from this past weekend. I left a lot of time on the table trying not to overheat the tires like I did my first 3 runs, but it was good enough for 5th pax.

Here is a video of my PAX and Class winning run last weekend at South Jersey's SCCA event at Bader Field in Atlantic City.

Three Wheelin'
My contribution from last weekend. All my runs were within 5/10ths of a second from each other, so this vid is just one practice session and 1 timed run to show different camera angles.

SDR SCCA Championship Autocross #11 11/3/2019
Great time at the San Diego Region SCCA Autocross on November 3rd (the video date is wrong) in my 2019 718 Cayman base. I got my first trophy by taking second place (from my co-driver, Carl) on the last run. On my second run, I ran the course in 57.157 seconds to take second place in A Street. On his fourth, and final, run, Carl ran it in 57.128 seconds, to bump me down to third. This is my fourth, and final, run, where I retook second place with 57.020 seconds, beating Carl by .108 seconds. It was especially sweet because, in addition to earning my first trophy, I beat both Bill Sanford (who has first place overall in A Street wrapped up) and Chris Teague (who is in a battle for second place overall with this event's winner, Gary Samad). I had never beaten either them before. The run was also good enough to PAX 15th overall (out of 122 drivers).
Although it was a great day personally, I know there's more time out there. Gary clobbered all of us, winning by 1.410s in his 2013 Boxster S. Comments on my driving welcome.

First event out in the 981 Cayman S. SCCA AS prep on 18s (8/9.5) RE-71R. Car seems fun.

Burning Brakes
Here's my co-driver, multi-time National Champ Alan (McConnel) McCrispen, in the broken 944 (no front sway bar) this year at Nats. The camera is mounted on the roof behind the removable panel, so an interesting perspective.

Then, in the following slalom, I think the car will transition faster if you ask it by turning the wheel as fast as you can. (I can see from the preceding left that you have more hand speed available.) This will allow a faster average speed (more like a pure sine wave) through the slalom.

Nice run. There was something I think I see. Ignore if not true: At 18s you may not have properly, aggressively set up for the upcoming hard left. (You could have gone farther right, I think.) This requires you to slow more for the cone which is approached at too shallow of an angle. The extra speed you get from accelerating more with less turning is not advantageous in this situation.

Drifting
Our last event of the season, and was cold and windy though the rain (mercifully) held off! I was a few tenths shy of FTD but took top PAX
