Looking into converting a 84 944 to autocross/ rally car. I need help on what to upgrade the suspension to. I plan on getting the car, picking up uspension for it, gutting the inside and getting seats, then aquiring some skid plates front and back, then I'll start upgradingpreformance parts. Going to look at the 944 tomorrow it has 200k miles but valves have been replaced and adjusted, new fuel pump and filter, torque tube, battery an a couple other things. Car looks like it was very take. Care of but will see tomorrow

Autocross and rally are two opposing directions to go.

My advice is to read some rulebooks before you do / buy anything. You may find that bone stock is the best way to go.
