Has anyone fitted 18x9.5 wheels in the front of a 987?
What's the widest front wheels anyone has fitted on a 987 Cayman S WITHOUT modification to the fenders? I'd like to see if I can make 255mm on 18x9.5" wheels work... The car will have aftermarket suspension. TIA for your input!

9.0 front wheel using RE71R 255/35/18
I am using a 9.0 front wheel with a 47 offset with 255/35/18 RE71R's. The top photo shows a rub mark on the inner fender due to forward and aft LCA movement. If you have a solid thrust puck, you maybe able to use a 9.5 wide wheel with this tire. I recently went with Tarett Cup LCA's and they solved any rubbing issues, holding the tire steady up and down, not allowing forward or aft movement.
