I'm installing some AppBiz RS Door panels with the perforated speaker holes soon and plan on replacing the speakers while I'm there. Bob at Appbiz recommends I attach the new speakers directly to the door and mentioned I may have to fabricate a plate to fit the speakers in the hole. I'm hoping there is someone who makes these adapter plates that I can just buy.

I've decided to go with 2 Way speakers and ditch the separate tweeters.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a good 2-way speaker that would fit? Do I need adapters? Any sources for that?

I'd like to keep it under $350.
