2001 porsche 911 SQ Audio Build - Mosconi, Ground Zero and Alpine

This is a build log for a 2001 911 turbo. Goal for this build is great level of sound quality with great output. The other important aspect I try to do on builds is making everything look like its factory. Staying within the OEM design and complementing it. Here is the List of equipment
that will be used in the install.

Headunit - Alpine X008U 8" Navigation unit
Amplifers - Mosconi Gladen One 240.2
- Mosconi Gladen One 120.4 ( 2 of them)
Processor- Mosconi 6to8 DSP with mini controller
Components - Ground Zero Plutonium 6.5" midbass
- Ground Zero Plutonium 3" mid range
- Ground Zero Plutonium 1.1" tweeters
Subwoofer - Ground Zero Hydrogen 12" subwoofer

Backup camera- Rydeen Mobile HD mini camera

The aluminum will be sandwiched between the wood, vinyl and acrylic which will have LEDS.

Afterwards I decided to trim the fang in the middle to the Porsche shield logo. will update later in the week.

Still have enough space to put grocery bags, backpacks and whatever.

Nice but how much weight does that add to the car?

It will add about 25-30 lbs. this car has 520 rwhp and when finished here with the audio. Next it will be getting more performance around the tune of 950 plus HP. So any weight gain is irrelevant from the audio system.

The door enclosures were removed and modified for the 6.5" mid bass. A good bit of cutting and fiber glassing was needed to make these work.

Test fit mid bass in the door enclosures, was a perfect fit. later I will test how they would sound.

14 gauge Wire was ran in both doors and dash. Doors were deaden with customers supplied deadening. The door cards where done in ground zero multi layer deadening. The enclosures was test fitted back in the doors.
