Default Bob Dylan. Which LP?

If you had to narrow down your favorite Bob Dlyan album(s), would you please recommend 1 or 2 albums. Has anyone heard "Bringing it all back home"?

As an aside, USA Today had a great article on LPs http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/m...-high/1821601/

"Highway 61 Revisited", I bought it in 1965 when I was 18 and still have the original vinyl. I've gone through cassettes, CDs and now MP3 but it is always nearby.

You're right about the ancient and that I forgot. I remember yanking my 8 track and replacing it with a Sony Cassette deck. The technology back then was blindingly fast. BTW, I also remember the underdash 45 spinners. I never had one but heard they jumped track often just like the Clarion CD player does in my 930 because of the very taut suspension. Which reminds me, I need to pull the Clarion out of my 930 and put the original to the car Reno back in. I usually leave the radio off unless my wife is with me. She doesn't appreciate the exhaust note like I do.

Blonde on Blonde and Nashville Skyline if I could only buy 2. Doesn't matter as I think I have everything Dylan ever legally released so it's hard to pare it down. Some of his live tracks are better than the studio versions IMO. I still have all the vinyls but nothing to play them on

Blood On the Tracks and Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits (65). If the latter doesn't count then it's New Morning.

All the above are great. But for a "later" release, check out 'Infidels'. Musicians include Mark Knofler (who helped produce), Mick Taylor (!! - see 'Exile on Main Street', etc), Robbie Shakespeare, Sly Dunbar, and Alan Clark. Worth a listen for sure. Plus Jokerman is one of the greats: Enigmatic lyrics, a great vocal performance, and tuneful playing...
