Default FRUSTRATED - have two CDC-3s and neither ejects

I saw one helpful comment, quoted below (LOST the link on Rennlink to this guy) but I can't make it work! ANy tricks or photos people can post?? I am afraid I will break the pin. Also, he talks about front of car and that is not clear which direction he mounted the unit.
Thanks.
Charlie

If the casette is stuck you should be able to remove it with a thin metal bar. Like a metal machineist scale or a steak knife. Open the cover and look down inside towards the front of the unit. There is a pin that holds the cassette in place You can slide the blade in between the front of the cassette and the player and push the pin towards the passenger side of the car. You will probably have to lightly press down on the cassette to release the spring pressure

well, went to audio shop and the $100 unit from fleabay is jammed and can't have cartridge ejected. Hope to resell back to uninformed seller who vouched for it. On the positive side, my unit in the car had its cartridge ejected readily by Porsche dealer (no charge) and when I replaced a suspicious CD it all went back together well. I assume the dealer used the approach described at beginning of the thread.another minus for fleabay....
