I have the M12's, which is a newer speaker similar to the 1290's. They are a very smooth sounding speaker with tight bass. I need to have my woofers reconed, an inherent problem with a/d/s speakers. They start to buzz after some time. It can get expensive as there are 4 of them. Make sure the ones you are looking at don't buzz. Expect it though eventually.
