New to the Porsche family and just got an '06 Cayenne S, looking to put in a new head unit that is wireless Apple CarPlay compatible. I poked around the threads and have watched a bunch of youtube reviews and it seems like the consensus is this:
Alpine: Best sound quality, expensive
Sony: lots of options, good tech, works with other sony compatible devices (not sure how relevant that is for me)
Pioneer: wide range of options, most up to date tech, easy to use
JVC: best visuals, expensive

For me, wireless carplay is the number one priority with ease of use (i.e. good touchscreen, etc) and sound quality being next. Flexible on budget but not trying to break the bank.

Curious if anyone has specific experiences, opinions on the matter.
