AVIC-W8500NEX Upgrade Help
 

I am thinking of changing from stock to the AVIC-W8500NEX.. I have a 2018 911 GTS main reason is I miss wireless CarPlay and also want to switch to android.. I am confused on the fiberoptic connection the Bose uses and if that will be a problem with the pioneer head unit.. Also I wanted to know what I will loose when I go off stock ie the small screen in the cluster unit showing tire pressure ect..

you can install the unit but will need an amp to go with it....speakers will be ok....you are going to have faults in the communication when reading the car with a porsche tester....
the radio talks to most everything in the car....there is fiber optics in some of the cars we put the same unit in, just the amp with fiber optics doesn't work !!!
