I just purchased a DMX7705S. Trying to make some kinda of porsche logo for the start up screen. Tried a few. All worked but the screen initially is all messed up then it goes good for a second. I believe its because the .bmp file has to be 800x480 and 16 bit. Everything i find is 24 bit. Not sure if that is the issue, I cannot for the life of me find a .bmp in 800x480 in 16 bit. I tried different programs to make it the right 16 bit but this is not my area of expertise. Any help out there??

Call the CAI-Store.com. They sold me my Kenwood 994S and put the porsche logo on the start up screen. They are really nice guys.

Thanks for the heads up but i posted the same thread in the 996 section and a member helped me fix it already.
