Dash Cam game changer
 

Just installed a 2 channel dash cam in less than 20 minutes.... the new OBII power source is amazing. The most time consuming part of hard wiring was always the fuse taps and routing, but luckily that's over. Not just normal recording, but parking mode with motion sense, shock sense and cloud capability. Of course I like the DR900S-2CH.

Not to rain on your parade, but have you read the reviews on amazon.com? These things overheat in the 80's!

I take it with a grain of salt-- amazon reviews vs. my personal experience. I have them in all my cars, and live in Houston. Most overheating issues with the units are because people try to run cheap SD cards instead of buying the legit ones or at least the high rate ones. I've been running these for 4 years in TX without issue.

I owned the 650 model and it did get overheated with diff bunch of SD cards including SandDisk premium once.
It might be bad wiring also so i don't know for sure it was the BlackVue specific.

Regardless, cool setup.
