911 1999 radio reset
 
My battery died so I need to put code in.

in my radio hand book it says serial: BE S

i just need to reset my code if anyone can help. I just had this car bestowed and am new to the forum

I had the same issue, I went to a decode service. Wrote the code in the book and on the option list under the hood,
its not expensive, but works well. You nned to pullthe radio t get the serial number. Pulling the radio is essy with the right tools - You just slide the tools on the left and right side of the radio and it slides right out. The serial and model label then can be read to put into the decode service!

You can also get your serial No. like this:

How to get your radio serial number?
CR-220/CDR-220:
Hold down the TP button for at least 10 seconds after you turn the radio on. "Becker 1" will be displayed. Rotate the right knob (slowly) and it will display the Becker model number. Then rotate it again and the serial number should be displayed on the radio.
Or, if the radio is out of the car the then the serial number is on the label.
