At least if you do get some you'll know that your car will be somewhat unique! The magnetic ones are the way to go. Can put them on and take them off as you see fit, and go over the OEM stone guards.

Skip. not good looking at all on the 997. Get the OEM or do some Xpel there. I used Xpel and made it a little larger than stock.

So subjective, even polarizing. Personally, I like the black stone guards. It's a throwback to the 930's, gives it a bit more sporty look. YMMV.

I'm on the fence, but I am an old 930 guy and had them on several 70s and 80s cars. On the 997s I like it a lot on the red car because it ties in the black wheels and tint. Not as much on the silver 991 pic.
