Default 997 Transmission Emergency Run

Need help on a disappearing Transmission Emergency Run code.
I have a 2011 997 Turbo S with 20k miles, owned it for a year and a half.
I was on the highway, got on the gas in 4th and 5th gear and I heard a woop woop sound in the front right. Thought it was wheel related. Second time it gives me the TER warning(I think it was in red). I stop, turn it off. I continue on my trip and the sound is there when I get on the gas, a couple more times. I no longer see the warning pop up. Few days later I run codes on the car. No codes.
Any ideas?

Thanks

Neil

I would check the CV joints - especially the front right. Do you think you ran over something? I know the front differential is very sensitive to discrepancies between each wheel.

Thanks for the post. I just took it out and it does it in 2nd and 3rd, and it sounds like its coming from the back. woop woop and then if you push a little i bogs down a little. I am going to take it to Rockville porsche to get it checked out. Yikes. I will post the result. Thanks again.

I have a '12 TS Cab doing the same thing. No track time.
I didn't see a response to your dealer visit and was curious. Mine is at the dealer now and they are replacing a coil as they can't get it to replicate yet. They are also replacing an axel/cv joint due to another issue I noted but I assume they could be related.

Any ideas?
