Yes please. I've been toying with doing this for a while, but that thread grew so large that it was difficult to follow

Default Another success story

I know this isnt a 991.2 MF , but thought I'd share my story with this related wheel upgrade.
Just wanted to thank Shadow 993 for the great deal on the awesome 991.2 pdk wheel . I ordered the module and dove in the retrofit Sat morning , even though the module swap was a little intimidating for me . Like most DIY projects , i could do it in 1/4 of the time now.
. Took it to the dealer and rubbed their shoulders while they looked at me like i was insane when i explained what i had done and requested programmimg . 2 hours later i was grinning and paddle shifting .
. Transformed the car like i couldnt believe . No more hideous mf triangle wheel with clunky buttons . Seems like it shifts faster which i know is impossible. Highly recommend.
Thanks again to shadow993 and thanks to this forum for being such a great resource .
. Now , the UMW tune in the next few days and I should be all set . I hope so cause I'm out of fun money .

That looks great! I think it's cool you tackled it yourself. The module does look intimidating when you start, but you learns it a couple of screws and plugs.

Enjoy the paddles.
