that's odd, so if the front and rear tires are different brands for example the front diff fails? i've never heard of this.

Thank you all for the information! I don't plan on doing a ton to the car if I do get it...other than Europipe exhaust and a tune...maybe ipd plenum and ypipe. The one I am looking at is in excellent condition around 40k miles, just wanted some peace of mind from you gentlemen before I pull the trigger

I meant if the tire size mounted is different factory spec sizes for front and rear and not different brands of tires.

Kevin from UMW did mention that the front diff is not strong enough for launch control like the 997.2 diffs. Maybe it is not totally failsafe..
