Default Light Mods

Had the turbo for about 8 months now. Changed the oil couple of weeks ago, added DSC Sport box about a month ago. Today a nice sized box arrived from cargraphic. Shiny exhaust - super sounds version, matt black quad tips, and some "thread to sample" carpets. (Zinc yellow). Getting installed tomorrow.
Also adding GT2 RS rear anti-roll bar.

Holding off on installing the GMG springs for now. Thinking about whether I will install with new bilstein B8s - had X73 on my 996 turbo and really liked that suspension.

Looking forward to some sound.

quad tips and GT2 RS rear sway bar installed (middle setting). Stock turbo bar is puny in comparison - no wonder the rear end moves. Car feels more planted, less body roll (side to side). My local shop was uncomfortable installing exhaust, so I'll take it somewhere else.

Awesome! I think you'll soon find yourself driving through a lot tunnels with the windows down. Cold starts in the garage isn't bad either

Where did you source the GT2 bar?

I've heard and driven a demonstrator from Cargraphic with that exhaust and their stage 4 kit. It sounds great. Bet you can't wait.

If you like the DSC module you should maybe also have look at their tractive dampers. Next on my Xmas list with carbon brakes or maybe giro discs.

Yeah, can't wait.
Pretty sure I got the GT2 RS bar from Sunset Porsche.
Black quads look much better than chrome IMO

The b8s were actually developed for porsche tequipment as the new x73 for the turbo, but never progressed. so, gmg springs and b8s will be as close as you can get to the x73.
enjoy

Those black tips do look nice. Makes me wonder if anyone has tried chrome/silver on the outside and black on the inside rim and inner barrel, kind of like the stock Turbo wheels. No idea whether that would look good or just strange though.

Default Cargraphic Installed

Had the Cargraphic super sound version exhaust installed this week.

I like it a lot. It enhances the sound of the exhaust nicely.

It feels like throttle response is improved and it is alleged the exhaust frees up some horsepower. Its also much lighter than stock, but I didn't weigh it before install. Maybe 20+/- lbs.

I would not call it loud. But, I've had cars that were really loud. (GT3 RS, Mustang Cobra (w/ straight pipes), etc). It does not drone at all. Period.

Cold start and idle is certainly louder than stock, but when cruising around at 2500-3500 rpms, doesn't really sound much different than stock.

Again, like it a lot. Should have some install pics soon from Aspen Autosports.

Trying to attach short before and after cold start clips from iphone.

Looks great and you seem to be happy with the sound
I have black quad tips too but went with gloss enamel. Yours look more aggressive and goes well with the white exterior. Enjoy in good health!

Default Another Black Box

Sounds great. One of the boost hoses blew off during a long road-trip this past weekend. That sucked.

All buttoned up again, and ready for .... UMW.
