Default Help with determining value on a 2009 turbo?

Hi guys,

The time has come for me to sell my 2009 turbo 6mt in GT silver on black with 38,400 miles. I'm the 3rd owner and it was a California car for the first 34,000 miles. My brother bought it CPO'd from Carlsen Motor Cars at 20,000 miles and I bought it from him in 2014.

It's completely stock except for Champion wheels, Rennline radiator protection lower grill and full frontal clear bra. Full service records and maint is completely up to date with Motul 5w40 and brake fluid and a new AGM battery. No stories, just a clean 997 turbo. I'll attach the DME report and window sticker so you guys can help me determine asking price?

I wish I had more pics but I don't post much so I have a little work to do this coming week

Thanks

I just sold my 09 6MT cab in the low 80's. The market is currently strong for 09 6MT coupes so mid $80s is a good number. It also depends upon options such as Sport adaptive seats, LSD, and miles which are little high in your case but IMO shouldn't hurt you too much. Also, do you have the OEM wheels which may also affect the price?

Thanks 4ocious. I have the OEM wheels and the options on this one besides PASM are mostly creature comforts like universal audio, heated and ventilated seats, bluetooth, XM radio, Porsche crest in headrests, etc. No LSD and sport seats.

I would think mid $80's would be great execution for this car due to miles and low level of options and no factory performance options (LSD, short shift, sport exhaust), except sport chrono (which you do have). Color combo, 6mt and coupe are all positive variables for your sale. I would not be shy about asking for $85k and taking anything that starts with an 8!

For perspective, a buddy just bought a one owner 2011 TTS cab, silver/grey/grey, $197k MSRP, 7,026 miles, CPO for $105k. He was too slow to pull the trigger on a local CA 2011 TTS Cab, red/black/black red black, $192k MSRP, with 23k miles, CPO which sold at $91.7k, dealer add was $94.9k. Both were pdk, which is what he wanted.

The market floor seems to be in the low to mid $60k range for 2007's, so $20k premium for a 2009, 3 owner car (buyer is 4th), with just under 40k in miles, seems like a pretty good premium.

I say ask what you want and get as much as you can! Good luck with the sale

Red/black/black red black? That sounds like an interesting color combo.

I may be interested in the wheels if you sell those separately. Good luck!

pro - manual and color combo, con - miles and options. mid 80's is a fair starting point.

Al other things equal, how does cab vs coupe affect the price? Assuming the top is in perfect condition.

from what I see a cab can be up to 10k less.
