Good source for replacement front axle outer boots?
Does anyone have a good source for a "rebuild" kit for the front outer axle boots (including grease) for the 997.1TT? I was under the car today and discovered both boots are shot and grease has flown all over (both sides). Replacement boots are in order I'm afraid.

Just did mine at the dealer, plus both axles "while we are in there", and they didn't look good anyway.

Just did an inner 996 TT front boot. Bought kit from Pelican, boot, grease and clamps. Big metal clamp was too small in diameter. Shop had to use a BMW clamp (ugh!). Also bought upper strut rubber rings from Pelican. Parts diagram was correct, but rings sent were wrong when compared to those removed from the car. Oh, and Pelican shipped 2 CV boot kits, when I ordered one. So.....

Thanks guys, I ended up ordering them from ECS Tuning. $23.00 per side with replacement grease and clamps. Can't beat that.
Is this a relatively simple job? Looking to do it in a week or so when the parts come in.

Yeah its pretty easy if you have a lift. Never tried it on the ground jacked up.
You can just pull both lower control arm bolts and the axle nut, pull the whole spindle outward and slip the axle out of the knuckle. remove the six bolts holding the axle to the front dif and its out

Yeah its a pretty straight forward job. I did both side axles(inners and outers) in about four/five hours. The part that takes the most time is cleaning all the old grease and cleaning up the mess they made when they ripped open
