You know my thoughts on these. I got the link you sent me and I think back in the day, there were a lot of problem with the QuickJacks but I think they've sorted them all out. I am in the same boat, but will probably get the 5000 model since I don't anticipate needing a lift if I end up buying SUVs or anything.

I live in a town home with a tight 2 car garage, so I was looking into a MaxJax but the need to drill into the concrete is something I don't want to do. The QuickJack is going to get the job done and I can just roll them away when I need to store them.

Yep, I've got a tight 1 car garage and an SUV so for a couple of hundred bucks more I'll probably get the 7000. Hopefully we'll get some positive feedback. The more current Quick Jack stuff on YouTube looks promising.

We are the only place that lists the QJ units with free ground shipping AND free ATF fluid.

We have a video and info on all the units here: http://www.pelicanparts.com/promos/1QuickJack2152017/.

Please let me know if you have any questions about any of the units as I'd be happy to assist you.

I love my QJ7000slx. But the 5000slx is just as good. They had a test on the 5000 where it lifted 20k lbs.

Had mine for almost a year and have 4 personal cars I work on plus friends cars. Solid build and never had one issue. The "SLX" version is the updated version

These are drop shipped from Bendpak but if Pelican is offering free tranny fluid, why not

Also, Bendpak/QuickJack has great customer service fwiw

Yep, saw the video on the 5000 lb unit. Pretty impressive! Thanks for the input.

Currently, all QJ units are in stock at Pelican headquarters and are shipped directly from us, not Bendpak. Free ground shipping & free ATF is offered when purchased directly from us.

I've been looking at these and been speaking to my wife cause my birthday is coming up in May...

Anyway, this just popped up on my Youtube as recently uploaded. It got recommended because obviously I've been searching QuickJack on Youtube. Sounds like strong customer service should something fail.

For those who have the QuickJack, would you be open to making a short video of them in use on your 997TT? Does it raise the car high enough for you guys? Literally about to pull the trigger assuming the wife OK's it for my "birthday gift" haha

I have a 997.2 and use the 5000xl. Works great! Pulled bumpers. Did exhaust. Quite portable too. Use on our race cars too.

We will be running the shipping + fluid deal for a while. No plans to end it anytime soon.

Not a 997 Turbo, but just so you get an idea of what the SUV adapters do to give you additional height.

Attachment 1354243

The 5000SLX was designed with the 997 specifically in mind as their older first generation lifts were not long enough for the lifting points. Therefore individuals were having to modify the units. Their current SLX models work perfectly for your application.

Below goes over specs of each unit:

We've even had a community member confirm that he was able to drop the engine in his 911SC with a 964 3.8L engine using the QJ unit (even without SUV adapters). Let me know if you have any other questions.

Edit: Also, here is a very extensive thread on Rennlist about the units: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...jack-lift.html. Post #29 shows you a 997 on the QJ unit lifted.

For regular service , definitely high enough. If I needed more clearance to drop the motor completely, I can use the SUV adapters by setting down on race ramps for the first lift then use the adapters to full rise

The SLXis are the improved designs with the 911 in mind. I would make a video as soon as my other car is off it.

Also my car is lowered and just enough clearance to use the short blocks
