A little help with my avatar?

Looks like most people have been able to use a larger image for their avatar than I can. Is there a trick to that?

This is the guideline, per the site administration. Not sure of your size, but maybe check the resolution to see if the file size is too big to allow the 180X180 size?

I think you're allowed a larger avatar when you become a paid member as well.
