Mahle and Mann filters vs. OEM
Are any members on here using Mahle or Mann filters (either oil or cabin?) I am about to order a minor service kit and the difference in price between a kit with Mahle and Mann oil and charcoal filters vs one with oem filters is about $70. Not sure the extra money is worth it just for oem filters. Is there an issue with using the aftermarket ones? Never heard anything bad about either brand in fact I think both are OEM suppliers?

The Porsche OEM filters are probably made by one of the manufacturers you mentioned. Personally, I have use Mahle filters for about 30 years on each of my 10 Porsches and never encountered an issue. In fact, I was given the "opportunity" to tear down the engine on my 993 when I encountered damage to one of the cams. Since I had the motor out of the car and partially disassembled, I made the decision to split the case to inspect the main bearings. On inspection, the mains (which had 112,000 miles on them) could not be decerned from new bearings. They were absolutely perfect, which says a lot about oil filtration over the life of the motor.

Mann, Mahle and Hengst have all been "Factory OEM" depending on time/year of when you received your oil filter. I couldn't tell you who is the current supplier but I have seen all three with the genuine parts stamp on them at one point or another for our cars. That being said I generally use the Mahle as mentioned above mainly for the N/A cars as its easier to cut apart the filters vs Hengst or Mann due to endcap design for IMS material inspection.
