First Wrenching Opportunity

Just did my oil change today and what a breeze!
Made quite a mess on the first drain plug haha. Next time I know to put a old bed sheet down or something to protect the floors.
I put 8.5 quarts in and when I checked the oil it showed 3/4 full. Is that OK or should I top it off? Just read a story where a shop overfilled the guys car and its been in the shop for 3-4 days because of problems so wanted to avoid that.
Here's how I did mine. Race Ramps worked great and then was enough to jack up the fronts onto something to level it out. Going to invest in a QuickJack or something similar though.

I normally put in 8.5 check it and if its low I put the other .5 in and its alwas to the top.
Also how much did they over fill it to cause problems???

I just use ramps to change the oil. Whole job is less than an hour once acclimated.

They are currently still at my parents place, I will check when I get them back to my garage.
It raises the car about 8" high which was actually surprisingly more room than I thought it'd be. I may buy a set of wheel cribs so I can use those instead of stacked bricks lol.

Surely a jack and 4 jack stands is a decent solution? Esco stands, some hockey puck jack pads and a low profile jack was one of the best investments I've made. Makes tinkering so much easier.
