What would you want ... next? Is there a next?

I just took delivery of a 997.1 GT3 and I absolutely love it. I still have the 997.1 Turbo (it's up for sale) so I have been able to compare and contrast a little. That Turbo torque is intoxicating, but not as potent for me as the sound this GT3 makes. Sharkwerks exhaust admittedly.
They are dramatically different cars, but for me the GT3 is the car I should have always owned. It may well be a long term keeper. (he says as he also has cars.com open on another tab)

My sights are set on a 991.1 GT3. Im hoping that after i enjoy my 997tt for another couple years the 991.1 GT3s will have gone way down in value, especially now that the new better one and the optional 6mt transmission are coming out this year.

I've been through the growing pains with every Porsche I've owned. I think we all do. But what finally made sense to me is that every newer car is an improvement, and there's always a newer one right around the corner(i.e. 992). You might have to wait on the new Turbo, but it will be a better one. Keep your car and wait to see what Porsche has in store for the future so you don't have to do it all over again in a few years.

I never thought about an Audi but I can see the appeal. They are nice, especially in black. Here's a 2012 for $82,900. Seems like a decent deal at 26k mi.
