Kids car seats for 997T

Not a 997, but I think the 996 is the same size. Main requirement for me for the turbo was being able to take my kids with me. I've probably tried 12 different seats and the cheap harmony's were the best fit. That said I don't like having one of the kids behind me, so I put in the airbag deactivation bar and put one in the front seat in a 5 point harness seat.
I've done a couple few hundred mile trips with the two kids. One in the back in the harmony and one up front next to me in the harnessed seat
I've now got a new problem as we have a new baby coming any day now. Will just leave the wife at home.

I removed the back seats to give them more leg room but that also keeps it seated a little deeper into the pocket. These cars don't have the latch system so I used the seat belt. Due to sitting deeper into the seat area you would thread the seatbelt through the hole normally used when using the seat rear facing. This still leaves about 2-3 inches of play at the top so I connected the rear safety latch to the actual seatbelt anchor, you should do this before threading the seatbelt and you'll see why. It requires a little maneuvering but you can slide the clip through the anchored portion of the seatbelt. This will naturally have the rear latch slightly anchored closer to the outside of the car.

Oh! I noticed those flaps too but could never find anything poking around there. I'll try again thanks.
