Default chrono/PASM/LSD

hi all
im looking at a 2009 turbo, the build sheet pulls up options 220 and 640 which is the options for LSD and Chrono . The car clearly has the sport button on the dash and the suspension button which i was told is the PASM. How come its not on the build sheet? is PASM always included in the Chrono or LSD package?
thx
BK

Pretty sure PASM was standard equipment on all 997 Turbos.

In the USA, PASM is standard on the 997 turbo. Sport Chrono & LSD were options.

The same for Germany (and I guess the rest of Europe).

Sport Chrono is only kind of an option though, I think one out of 100 is not equipped with it...

Not listed on the option sheet but should be on the dealer build sheet or build sticker/tag on the vehicle that lists the configuration codes for the build. It should also be shown as standard on the window sticker if the vehicle still has it.

In Canada 640 Sport Chrono is not shown on the option list but is on the build list (was standard for Canada build 2010 TT).

You should have configuration code 475 shown (standard?) on the build list or tag:
475 T EL. DAEMPFERREGELUNG (PASM)

That's interesting.

Question Sport Chrono/PASM/LSD

Hi All,
- Is there any advantage of a LSD with an AWD vehicle?
- How does the LSD interact with the Sport Chrono and PSAM?
- Will the LSD electronics override the AWD program?
- Sport Chrono Turbo and PSAM are on every 997.1 911 Turbo I have looked at. Hope to purchase a TT*, to experience the AWD and Turbo power. I have always owned NA, RWD vehicles .

*Note: Purchased 2009, 911 Turbo Cabriolet that exceeded my expectations. Awesome HPDE car with unsurpassed acceleration out of corners. Have to lift off to allow GT3 and Corvettes to pass. Great touring machine for long cross country trips as spouse stays comfortable. MSRP: $158,040

Default 997 Turbo AWD Description

Doc V posted this document a while ago here which describes the 997 turbo awd system.

UPDATE: I've posted the entire drivetrain section here now including the LSD description.
