Hey everyone. I was looking to install a meth kit on my 997.1 TT. I was wondering if anyone else has a DIY or can tell me where they located the Meth bung. Thanks.
Looks like he tapped into the Y-pipes for the jets. I wonder if it will be the same for the 997.1. I gotta research and see where the IATs are at. Are they in the intake manifolds too? I'm pretty new to the car. Haha
I put mine in the same location almost. About 10" - 12" before the throttle. I put heat-shrink over the tubes to make it a little more stock looking.
Running two 1.0mm jets, spraying 75% VP-1 methanol and 25% water.
From the driver's side. I have the high-speed valve mounted on the oil filter housing with a large hose clamp. From there it goes to a Tee fitting where the throttle is. Then to the two jets.
I did the tank and pump a bit differently though.
Pump where the air compressor used to be stored. With 5-liter baffled Aquamist tank mounted on studs.
