Just became a new member. Long time admirer of turbo 911's since the early years. Never owned one before...several front engine P cars though. Pulled the trigger on a silver/silver 997 2012 Turbo S. Love it.

I also own a couple of other German cars...2006 BMW M5 V10 and BMW DINAN Supercharged Z3M Roadster.

Nice to be part of the group!

Thanks to all. You really can't compare German engineering and build quality with anything else. This one has been a daily driver (60K miles) but as tight as ever...

A 2012 Turbo S with 60K miles? It may be one of the highest mile 2012 Turbo S's in the US and also one of the nicest! )

A Silver 2012 Turbo S? You have EXCELLENT TASTE though I'm a bit biased. Do you have interior pics? What does your family and friends say about it so far? Congrats.

Yeah, I have no problem with the miles...why own a car if you won't drive it. I won't put too many on it probably though...not my only vehicle. I think I put less than 1000 per year on the roadster, and probably less than 4000 on the M5. Then there is the bike, and my other responsibilities.

I haven't really taken any pictures yet but I will definitely post them. Most of my family hasn't seen it yet except my wife and she loves it of course. I am in Florida for the winter and will trailer it home in May. EVERYONE stops me to tell me how beautiful it is. Never seen anything as magnetic before and I have had other nice cars. Of course I would always drool when I saw a P Turbo before too. They have that effect.

Thanks for all the kind words. I am definitely in love with my silver bullet.

Very nice and welcome! And yes to higher mileage! Nothing wrong with that cause it means it wasn't a neglected garage queen and it's held up! I got 53k miles and I love mine.

Before my Turbo S I too had an 06 bmw m5 v10 with evolve stage 2 tune and RPI air scoops.

Beautiful car. Welcome to the club. Where in the Florida Keys? We were in Islamorada for years.
