Very slick

Buy 911's based on condition nothing else. I have seen cleaner 2005 C2S models compared to 2012 Turbos S cars

If you happen to stumble upon a rare build go for it

never buy another dime a dozen car

Thanks JB!

It has 38K miles, it doen't have center locks (I didn't want them), no accidents, new tires and appears to be in excellent shape. So, I pulled the plug and I'm having it shipped to VA.

Carmax pictures are attached below. Yes, it does stand-out and yes it has a few miles but that's okay because if I buy it, I'll purchase their 5-year 125K mile warranty. But for $83K, IMO that's the Carmax deal of the century!

Anyone interested in a stock, pristine 2-owner 09 TT Cab 6MT with 25K miles?

Thoughts?
I just saw the car on a transport truck here in Houston. Shoot me an email at hhsu68@gmail.com if you would like to have them.

Thanks for asking, it's still at Carmax, I've seen it twice. I noticed the left rear taillight had condensation and water in it and the rear black wheels had a few rock chips so I asked Carnax to repair both. They are replacing the taillight which according to them is $1400 and they are touching-up the wheels. I also had them inspect the paint and panels while I was present; everything is original. And, I was able to obtain copies of the service records from Porsche in Austin. Other than a few minor maintenance items repaired under warranty I was able to verify the plugs have been changed and the required and routine service's have also been performed. All-in-all a good maintenance record.

According to Carmax it should be ready for me this coming Thursday or Friday. They must still detail it and provide me with a report on the PCCB wear. If I decide to purchase it I'll post more non-Carmax pictures.

I received an email from Barrett-Jackson today asking if I would consider consigning my car to the upcoming June auction in Conn. They just opened a new department that is looking for late model performance cars such as Porsche's, Viper's, and etc. It seems, and I would agree, the 50's-70's collector car market is declining rapidly and they need to broaden their appeal and outreach to the younger generations.

I'm don't think I'll do it but it was an interesting and informative conversation.

Interesting that they ("BJ") would call you, not sure I'd be happy with CarMax for providing my information...unless they spoke with you first. Regardless, "BJ" gets paid either way, with a listing fee, and if sold seller and buyer fees... June is not that far out, and my assumptions are, that "BJ" is trying to fil gaps in their auction's schedule. No doubt "BJ" likes diversity at their auctions and the Conn crowd will have a wealthy younger crowd, ready to buy a Porsche. However, most of the 911 Porsches I've seen sold on "BJ" go for what I'd say are a bargain... I can't say the same for the Porsche GTs and 918s...but then, that's not usually the younger group buying these beauties. If you do buy this TTS, you will have an awesome car, at a great price, with a long warranty. Good Luck...JB
