They happen when they do, doubt if a PPI would discover them unless very imminent.

Just budget $6-8K eventually at a dealer, depending how much you want to do.

You may want to at least have the coolant system pressure tested. This is what I did when I discovered a very small coolant leak over the course of winter storage. I doubt that I would have noticed the problem while driving which could have been pretty disastrous had I been on a long drive or on a track.
