Default Turbo Seat

on my recently purchased TT the previous owner did not do a great job looking out for the leather on the seat. the bottom piece has hardened and the upper left side and lower left side are worn from getting in and out. I seem to have two options - have a mobile guy scuff and paint the leather - or actually replace sections of the leather. Replacement of course seems to be much more expensive but also the only way to really make it pristine.
Has anybody had experience with replacing sections of the leather and how much should it cost to have three panels (sections) replaced and put back together? the interior is black (not sure if that matters).

thanks in advance.....

100% paint. If it doesn't work out you will only be $100 into it. Had it done on my bolsters. Looks good.
