TPC DSC Questions
#16
I am preparing to use the software, looking at the 27 min video from TPC.
I normally only use mode 1 (2-mode version) and want to copy it to mode 2 and make mode 1 slightly softer for bad roads.
Stock suspension with eibach springs. Before mode 1 was fine everywhere... the eibachs pushed it just a little bit where there are roads that get annoying.
Anyone who's been through the trial-n-error?

springs/swaybars vs DSC upgrade
Does anyone have any experience first upgrading springs and swaybars then later the DSC module? I recently went from stock springs/swaybars to GMG lowering springs and HR swaybars and the difference is night and day. Body movement is almost non-existent and the ride is much improved - much better road feel. I am considering going with the DSC module next but I'm not sure if it will make that much of a difference?

I did GMG springs and then DSC (and much later rear GT2RS sway bar).
I found the springs made a huge difference for the better in regards to pitch and roll, but Sport PASM mode was too harsh to use anywhere but the track. To resolve this I installed the DSC. It delivered not only the fix for the harshness, but all the other goodness highlighted repeatedly elsewhere. I added the rear sway at a later date as I wanted to dial out a little more understeer.
Overall I think you'd be happy adding the DSC to your configuration.

Drifting
I ask because some of our roads are pretty bad and the car feels rock solid, but sometimes it'd be nice to have the 1st setting just a bit softer.
I like the 2nd setting though because when I'm using that I'm normally pushing it anyway.

the TPC controller is a nice addition, as others have said. you can tell the difference immediately and the 'hop' in the rear and the 'dive' during braking is surely gone. ride quality has improved a ton too.
i like the fact there are 3 settings and the shock button blinking is not a big deal at all. furthermore, it remembers what setting you left it on even after you turn off the car.
