When I bought my first new turbo in 07, they sent out a similar turbo model, very cool.

wow - you guys are lucky! I haven't heard of any Canadian's getting this yet. Would love to get something like that myself!!

Got mine as well. It started it's life in our house on the mantle until my wife saw it. Now for some reason its in my closet. So I get to check it out every time I dress.

I got one as well....the book is really good and the cutaway turbo is a conversation piece - ha, my wife says to everyone "look at this engine".

I received the book only as well and immediately sent a message to Porsche asking their consideration. The fact appears to be that the Cut Away Turbocharger is NOT available for purchase through a Porsche Dealer. So if you didn't get one in the mail, you are SOL and can't get one even for the 200 bucks! I could imagine sending them to current owners of a car that they had purchased from a Porsche Dealer. That does not appear to be the selection criteria. I would call sending the model only to a select group and sending the book to others a marketing mistake if both items are not available in some fashion from Porsche.
