997 Dash Lights
I could post this in the regular 997 area since it probably applies to all porsches. However, hopefully someone here has an answer.
I'm not a fan of the self-dimming gauge cluster on the 997. It could be starting to get dark out and I have the headlights on and the gauges are still dimmed because the car thinks it's bright enough outside. Is there anyway to bypass this setting and have the gauge lights on when headlights are on? I no longer have the PCM unit so if that was the way to this fix, it's no longer an option.
Thx

Riddle me this: Why does Porsche make the effort to have an ambient light sensor for the instrument dash lighting, and not use that same sensor to operate the auto headlights that SHOULD be present in the 997?

ha seriously. I was wondering the same thing when I first realized it had a sensor
