Default Engine mounts

I recently installed a set of wevo mounts in my 993 and really liked the overall feel. There was a little more vibration but this was a plus for me as the car felt a more raw. Can I expect a similar change in my 997TT if I put in wevo mounts? My 997TT has approx 14K miles and I haven't tracked it so there's no pressing need to change the mounts from a wear/tear perspective.

Can't speak for Wevo however the changes you describe were the same with the RSS mounts.

Highly recommended.

I installed the Rennline tuneable mounts, and agree that it's a worthwhile upgrade. I highly recommend replacing the OEM mounts with the brand of your choice.

I have the torque solutions mounts and like them. I'm easily annoyed by excessive vibration and it doesn't bother me. There's certainly a more connected feel with less driveline thrash. It feels a bit like my GT3. A worthwhile investment I think.

As others have said...You will get a similar feel. There is a very slight NVH, and I would not get the race / track version (90-95A Durometer), but rather the road version ~ 75A Durometer. Just the right balance IMO.

I also changed to Torque Semi Solid Tranny mounts to complete the solid, less sloppy feel.

Good luck,
DC

I got the OEM 993 Rennsport mounts (with 997 hardware) from Carnewal some years ago (I don't think he has them anymore), recommended change.
