The car is doing 0 to 125 in 9.5 to 9.7 but limited by tire slip if I try to start by throttling before releasing the brake, it just lights up the dash and cranks them over. So the starts are leaving 0 with no boost at all and a touch of light on the dash as the boost comes up in 1st. The 60 to 100s are in 3.12 to 3.21. The 0 to 100's are in 6.6 to 6.7

I did measurements the same as you, and noticed it doesn’t quite match my vbox

Don’t think the logger “time” was designed to be a precise performance measure, so you will have slight differences when you compare it to a GPS based vbox.

Tire size differences, speedo error (my spedo reads about 2mph faster than GPS at around 80 mph), etc. will all contribute to this.. I’ve seen deltas in the order of a few tenths of a second. Not a big deal.

I concur entirely! I don't think anything is dead nuts frankly... just point of reference stuff. Dyno numbers also rely on certain assumption and I would still like to know exactly what kind of crankshaft horsepower and torque are indicated by those dyno numbers! Like I said, between the information gleaned from your valuable Dyno info and the Data Logging capability, there is a good measure of actual performance. Given the published comparative performance example is actually 0-124 in 12.2 in the factory book.... !

Pretty impressive numbers. As a comparison, my car bone stock put down 395 at rear wheels, 488 with the fvd stage 2 setup just ecu/bmc/exhaust. Very impressive setup you have there!

Forgive for my ignorance but can someone detail more about the DO88 inlet pipes? They are inlets to the turbos?

^ YEs, inlet pipes to the turbos, the stock ones neck down a bit in some spots.

https://www.do88.se/en/artiklar/inta...-09-black.html

You can order directly from do88 for much cheaper than some of the tuners, which typically mark them up 100-200% for effectively the same thing.

Great post. Some good learning in here. I've got similar mods but a different tune that I inherited. Will keep this in mind as I make changes.

^ Thx, time flies as I did these tests over 2 years ago.. Since then I swapped out my 2.5" Speedtech "quiet" exhasut for the full 3" X pipe. Really loving the new sound, and my wife only complained once during our drive in the TX hill country last weekend that it was "too loud"

Sorry to drag up an old thread but I am curious what the other good reputable places to Dyno our cars are in the DFW area? I am out near Rockwall so most places are fairly far from me. Does the Autoscope in Garland have a Dyno setup? Other good ones?

Know it’s an old thread, but those are great numbers on a mustang dyno!

For a AWD, there arent many in DFW. I had to call around. I'd call the shop you want (in Garland) and ask.. I also wanted to make sure that the shop had dyno'd a 997TT before so I wasn't a guinea pig..
