Default 07 turbo power seat, steering column stalks not working

The drivers seat has no power, and nothing on the steering colum has any power.

Any ideas? Car was in a collision and had the left door replaced and a piece of rocker out in it. Also sat with a dead battery for several months. Power seat module maybe ?

Check the fuse box first? Regarding the seat - they can slice through their own wiring relatively easily when sliding forward and back, but this wouldn't relate to the stalks on the steering column.

I've checked all the fuses. I can't figure it out. the drivers door works fine, nothing on the column works, not even the horn. I'm sure the 2 problems are related-seat and column.

Mice eating through wiring somewhere? You should be able to see error codes related to wiring issues through a Durametric.

^^^^^
I had a rat chew through wires in my M3 and Van within a week of each other. Caused a big mess. Look for pieces of the firewall material. They use that for bedding.
