I don't know about the deal, the mods, whatever... but I clicked on the link, opened up the pics on my new 27" iMac I just got last week and the resolution looks so grainy on them that it didn't show well at all to me. They just don't seem to do this car a bit of justice.
I'm sure it's MUCH nicer in person. Good luck to the new owner. It is amazing...I'm sure, just not in those pics I'm looking at now.

The toy barn in Dublin has it. They've told me they have it and it's for sale, but won't give me a price. They've said the current owner is unsure of wanting to sell.

Toy Barn has it listed now for $104,896.

It's a nice example of the 997tt. I just can't seem to make sense of the $20,000 premium for the color. I'm sure it's worth it for someone.
It's also quite surprising to see the 2009 manual 997tt getting higher prices based on a collectibility projection. Not saying it's wrong, just surprised by it.

As for the $20k number, there's several .2TTs that fall into the low 80k range;

Or, you could even step up to a 991TT, at the same dealer for just a 10% bump;

It's a beautiful car but there's no way it's worth that kind of coin when you consider what else is out there.
