I had an 07 997tt and swapped it out for a 991 C2S, went through a 991 C4S cab, an R8 V8, a 981 Boxster S and an M4, and finally back to another 09. Love it so far! The 991s are great cars, but the intimacy and immediacy of the 997 still appeals to me quite a bit, despite the turbo being heavier.

Closer up! (wow, I really need to either polish or replace that stone guard on the fender)

looks great, guess someone swapped out the CLWs, makes it look like 977.2.

Quite a list of cars you went through. What happened with the R8, M4, and Boxster S?

I recently had the chance to enjoy a Boxster GTS and couldn't believe how down on power the car was. But sounded and drove incredible

heh, I have severe car ADD, that's only a small number of the cars I've gone through since my last one.

Yeah, the Boxster was really fun but I couldn't get over the power, plus I couldn't take the kids with me on a twisty road. the 997tt doesn't handle like a Boxster but the power is definitely there.
